At the National Museum of the United States Air Force™
Experience North America's largest scale helicopter event, a celebration of model aviation and an inspiration to the next generation of modelers and full scale aviation professionals.
HeliStorm® is a first-of-its-kind recruiting initiative aimed at inspiring students to learn about and explore the aviation industry. By giving students an accessible on-ramp into the industry via radio control scale helicopters, HeliStorm™ both inspires and endures so that families making career choices with their students are fully immersed in the disciplines that are in massive demand throughout the vertical-lift industry.
According to Tony Velocci, former editor-in-chief of Aviation Week & Space Technology Magazine;
"This eclipses anything I’ve seen done within the broader industry writ large. With this initiative, you’ve set a new standard for collaboration between the aviation/aerospace industry and the educational community."
Our event introduces STEM students and educators to the amazing world of scale radio helicopters and invite aviation industry partners into that realm so that all three groups (pilots, schools & vertical flight industry professionals) can work together to foster workforce development in full scale aviation by way of model aviation
We are proud to have, as sponsors, industry leaders in the vertical lift and aviation industries! See our Press Room for more.
